Locker Supplies
As you shop over the summer for school supplies for next year, please keep the purchase of locker “accessories” to a minimum. The size of the lockers at PSMS does not easily accommodate these extra items, and they cause multiple problems for the student. Once cooler weather arrives, jackets and coats take up any extra room in the lockers.
We strongly discourage the use of shag carpet, chandeliers, beads, wallpaper, shelves, large door mirrors and message boards, excessive magnets, etc.
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
*Limit the number of magnets to 5, no heavy or oversized allowed.
* Only 1 small, lightweight message board and/ or mirror.
* Pen and pencil holders should fit inside the locker, not on the door.
*Large bags, and backpacks with lots of straps are not recommended.
* Keep non-essential locker “decorations” to a minimum.
Thanks for your help in keeping our lockers accessible and easy to manage for the students.
Athletic Forms
With summer break just around the corner, I wanted to remind you that if your incoming 7th or 8th grader is interested in participating in football, cheer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, or track during the 2016-17 school year, a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (attached) dated after May 1, 2016
will be required. As you make your summer doctor's appointments don't forget to have the attached document filled out. There are other documents required for participation and they can be found at the following link
