Week 3 SIG Yale II

Helpful Hints for the end of our Session

Dear Parents, Friends, and Family,

Thank you for joining us yesterday for a wonderful Parent Visitation Day. It was a pleasure meeting so many of you, and I know your students were delighted to share what they had learned, introduce you to their new friends and get off campus for a bit of New Haven’s best food and fun.

With so many wonderful activities happening over the next few days it is hard to believe that camp is almost over. Throughout this week your students will be working hard to finish and present their culminating projects and to participate in performances.

The schedule for this week’s evening activities is as follows:

Monday: Counselor Activity Night

Tuesday: Photo Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday: Double Tutorial

Thursday: Student Theater & Improv Show

Friday: Dance

Saturday: Closing Ceremony

Friendly Reminders

Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be attending the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, August 10th or if you will be picking your child up prior to Saturday.

The more information we have, the easier it is for us to facilitate your child’s departure.

Counselors will make sure students are packed and ready to go on Friday evening, which should alleviate some of the stress on Saturday morning. All students need to be off campus by noon on Saturday.

Please be sure to check in at the following offices on Saturday:

Lost & found in the office (K11)

Infirmary to collect medications

Passport desk to sign for your passport in the Director’s Office (K11)

We look forward to an exciting Closing Ceremony and want to wish everyone a safe journey home! Thank you for allowing SIG to be an educational jump start for your child’s upcoming school year.
