Weekly Wildcat
September 10, 2021
Dear Sundance Families,
We had another wonderful week at Sundance Elementary! All of our devices have been distributed to students and we are excited to launch our blended learning component soon! We had close to 100% of our 3rd-5th graders return their chrome books daily with a fully charged battery- please continue to charge them nightly.
Next week, our students will participate in a school-wide bus safety and evacuation training on 9/14. Due to the possibility that an entire school might, in an emergency, need to be evacuated on school buses, training is required of all students, even if they do not access home to school bus transportation or ride on bus activity trips. Students from our 3rd-5th classes moving onto round two will be campaigning next week for a Character Ambassador position.
Safety Reminders:
- Cars may not be left unattended during drop-off and pick-up. The curb is intended for drop-off use
- Encourage your child to use the crosswalk when walking through the parking lot
Congratulations! Karina Greenway and Xinyang Yin will be joining our School Site Council for the 2021/2022 school year. Thank you to everyone for running this year!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Katz, Principal
