Something for Everyone...A Comedy Tonight

A special thanks to Mrs. Elicker, Mr. White, Mrs. Buchan, and Mr. Ford for all their hard work in making last weekend's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum an enormous success. In her 7th spring musical at HRHS, Mrs. Elicker has achieved a top quality production which enabled our students to showcase their many talents. Mrs. Elicker, thank you for creating a theatre program that ensures there really is "Something for everyone."

Mrs. Threatt--Our Receptionist and So Much More

From 9-3 on Mondays-Fridays, Brenda Threatt answers our phones, greets our guests, makes our all-call announcements, and answers our questions--all with a smile. Just knowing that she is there, taking care of us, makes us all feel just a little bit better. Mrs. Threatt and her husband, Paul, can also be found at almost every HRHS extracurricular event that occurs. This weekend, they were fierce competitors at our Athletic Booster's Annual Bingo Fundraiser. Thanks, Mrs. Threatt for supporting HRHS, our students, and our faculty.

Once a Bull, Always a Bull

This Thursday, we wish Coach Marty Paxton farewell as he departs HRHS to become the Head Football Coach at Mooresville High School. Coach Paxton started the Raging Bull Football program 9 years ago when HRHS opened without a senior class, he led his Varsity Bulls to a conference championship in 2012, and has progressed to the 2nd round of state playoffs for the last 3 years. In addition, during his tenure at the Ridge, Coach Paxton has had a player named to the Shrine Bowl Team, an SEC recruit, and many young men who have gone on to play collegiate level football on full and partial scholarships. Coach Paxton, we truly appreciate the role model you have been for our young men and thank you for giving us all something to cheer for and be proud of every Friday night in the fall. Thank you for the impact you have made and the legacy you leave behind. You will be greatly missed.
