Honoring Mr. Guy Clayton and the LTISD Board of Trustees

Although our Lake Travis Independent School District Board of Trustees works diligently throughout the year to ensure that we have all of the tools that we need in order to learn together and lead together, the month of January has been set aside to recognize their efforts on our behalf. We, therefore, want to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Trustees.

We would also like to highlight one of the members of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Guy Clayton. Mr. Clayton is a graduate of Lake Travis High School and Texas Tech University, where he majored in Finance and Real Estate. His professional experience is in the field of mortgage banking and financial management. Mr. Clayton was first elected to the Board of Trustees in 2009.

Thank you, Mr. Clayton, and all of the members of the Board of Trustees of the Lake Travis Independent School District. We appreciate you and all that you do to make the Lake Travis Independent School District THE best place to be.

We are very proud of The Greater Numbers Math Team. The Greater Numbers Math Team, aka the WCHE Math Club, will be representing our school at the Math League State Qualifier. The Tiger 2018-2019 Math Club is made up of 4th and 5th Graders who enjoy math and are quick with numbers.

Our 4th Grade team members are Bowen Bennett, Sophia Ellis, Logan Gramling, Sarva Iyer, Joanna Koshy, Ben Liang, Dash Rowan-Sims, Abir Singh, Eddison Spodick, Krzysztof Stough, and Shenuli Yapa

The team will, also, participate in a local Math League competition to give our team members the opportunity to qualify for the State Championship.

The Wall of Fame for Shoe Tying for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Graders

If your Kinder, 1st Grader, and/or Second Grader can tie his/her shoes, please notify Coaches Mirizzi & Mayes because they want to honor this accomplishment in the school gym on our WALL OF FAME FOR SHOE TYING!

Once notified of the student's successful shoe-tying accomplishment, we will provide your student with a paper shoe to color, take the student's photo, and then post the photo and customized paper shoe on our WALL OF FAME FOR SHOE TYING!

It's going to be really exciting to see our young Tigers on the WALL OF FAME!

Our clinic needs new or gently used leggings, shorts, and pants

Accidents happen! And, sometimes students need warm, dry clothing to finish out their school day.

Nurse Hensel, as the keeper of the wardrobe, has reported a need for small, medium and large girls' leggings. She also needs, for boys and/or girls, small, medium, and large athletic shorts and pants.

We would appreciate your keeping Nurse Hensel's needs in mind if you have gently used clothing that your children no longer need. Many thanks!
