Arizona FAF$A Challenge
May 2019
FAFSA Completion Goal Progress
At the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, Arizona set a 50% FAFSA completion goal among its high school seniors to be achieved by June 30, 2019. This ambitious goal has encouraged students, schools, and college access professionals to strive for more seniors to complete the FAFSA, resulting in a year-to-date increase of 2.6% compared to last year's numbers!
With only 6% remaining until the state reaches its goal, Arizona currently holds a 44% FAFSA completion rate among its high school seniors. With the end date to achieve the goal being June 30, 2019, students still have time to complete their FAFSA. Each completed FAFSA brings the state closer to reaching its goal and presents financial options for students to pay for their post-secondary education.
Last month, we announced the state's 2018-2019 Arizona FAF$A Challenge Winners. Here are some pictures of the winning schools with their trophies and laptop recipients!
