Christmas Program Information

Elementary Students will perform in the Christmas Play on Sunday, December 13, 2015. There are two showings. The first show begins at 2:00 and the students performing need to be at school at 1:30. The second show begins at 4:00. This group needs to be at school at 3:30. I think the students will meet in the library before the shows. If this in not the case, I will let you know. The students who are in the cast may have something specific to wear from Mrs. Arnold. The students who are singing only in the choir need to wear Christmas attire. Christmas Party Planning

Any parents interested in helping with the Christmas Party need to contact me via email Janet Barnett and I would like to do a breakfast on the morning of December 17th. That is a half day of school. I would allow the students to go home with you after the party is complete. We will need items such as sausage balls, muffins, donuts, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, milk, plates, cups, napkins, forks and spoons. For a gift exchange, we would like to do a book exchange instead. Please have your child choose an age appropriate book to wrap and bring in for the party.

I would like the students to make an ornament or craft each day that week prior to Thursday. I would love for parents to volunteer to come up with the ornament idea, buy the supplies for eighteen students to make the ornament, and then come in sometime on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to instruct the students on how to make the ornament or craft. I will reimburse you for the supplies from our classroom fund if you bring in your receipts. I will also stay in the classroom to help while you instruct. I know I have some very crafty parents out there who can do this. I can also be flexible on the time of day for the craft to fit your schedule. The students love when parents come in and share their talents with us. Please consider sharing in the holiday fun.
