From the Principal's Desk...
Parents and Guardians,
As we start the month of October and the season starts to change, I want to remind parents of a couple of items. First, we are over halfway through the first trimester of school. K-3 students will be bringing home their Interim report cards today, so please be on the lookout for this progress report. Parents of students in grades 4-8 are encouraged to check Option C in order to check the progress of your student at this point in the trimester. November 5th is the last day of the first trimester, and it is imperative that students are staying on top of their schoolwork as the trimester starts to wind down. In the next few weeks, we will be sending home information about parent teacher conferences that will be held in November.
Secondly, we have many events over the next few weeks. Please make sure that you are reading the information sent home in the Blue Jay Folders as well as the information sent via the One Call System. We try to not overwhelm parents with information; however, we want to make sure that all parents and students are aware of what is going on in the school.
Lastly, just a reminder that school will be closed on Friday 10/8 and Monday 10/11 for Teacher Professional Development days. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe long weekend and that the students are ready to return on Tuesday recharged and ready to finish the trimester strong.
