The Beautiful Story

Wow! This beautiful story between the three lovers is crazy but will one of them be left alone? America Singer is a beautiful girl that is poor and her family struggles to bring food to the table. But is her pain the reason for Prince Maxon falling for her? This isn't the only twist that has occurred but America has fallen for another man. Although she knows that Aspen is in a lower caste than her and that's illegal in the land of Illea. Prince Maxon is really stressed out with dealing with 35 girls as well as keeping his country under control especially with all the attacks that have been taking place. Slowly Prince Maxon starts to fall for America. America and her lover Aspen, are having many issues because the day she was going to leave to go to the castle, she saw Aspen holding another girl smiling and that broke America’s heart. As her days widened in the castle with the Prince, she notices that she actually kind of likes him but she knows that she can never forget Aspen. America knows that she can love Prince Maxon but never forget Aspen since he’s her first love or was her first love. America’s biggest problem is that she can’t forget Aspen but Prince Maxon is ready to give her as much as time she needs to move on or make her decision. Aspen then gets drafted as a guard at the Royal Palace in Illea. So later on Aspen and America meet each other and all their misunderstandings get cleared. America still loves Aspen but she realized that she loves Prince Maxon as well. In the end, America tells Aspen how she feels about Prince Maxon and he tells her that he’s not going to give up on her.

America's Enterance

This song connects to the book because it connects to how America's feeling. Also the authors message is competition isn't always everything and be yourself. Most of the time in the book when America was talking to Marlee she was telling her to just be herself and that was how Prince Maxon was going to find out if he had any feelings for him. Also that America is always trying to help her family to the point where she agreed to compete in a competition where you fight to marry the Prince. She doesn't have to try and be someone that she's not so she should just be herself and that's the best person she could be.

Lyrics to Try by: Colbie Caillat

"Try"

Put your make up on
Get your nails done
Curl your hair
Run the extra mile
Keep it slim
So they like you. Do they like you?

Get your sexy on
Don't be shy, girl
Take it off
This is what you want, to belong
So they like you. Do you like you?

You don't have to try so hard
You don't have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don't have to change a single thing

You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try
Yoooou don't have to try

Ooooo, oooooo, oooooo...

Get your shopping on,
At the mall,
Max your credit cards
You don't have to choose,
Buy it all
So they like you. Do they like you?

Wait a second,
Why should you care, what they think of you
When you're all alone, by yourself
Do you like you? Do you like you?

You don't have to try so hard
You don't have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don't have to change a single thing

You don't have to try so hard
You don't have to bend until you break
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don't have to change a single thing

You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try

You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try
Yoooou don't have to try

Oooooo
Oooooo

You don't have to try so hard
You don't have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don't have to change a single thing

You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try, try, try, try-i-i
You don't have to try
You don't have to try

Take your make up off
Let your hair down
Take a breath
Look into the mirror, at yourself
Don't you like you?
Cause I like you
