COMMUNITY MEMBER DAPHNE ARRINGTON SHOWS THAT CHARACTER COUNTS! CHECK OUT WHAT GREAT THINGS DAPHNE HAS DONE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE -
Daphne Arrington, an Argyle resident and a member of The Well Church headed up the organizing of the Night to Shine Event that was held on February the 8th at Argyle High School. Many AISD students participated in the event as volunteers, buddies for the attendees and helped set up and take down. The Well Church hosted the event along with Argyle High School. Now that the event is over, Daphne has organized a drive for formal dresses, suits, jewelry, shoes and accessories for the event next year so each participant will have something to wear to the special needs prom. We want to highlight Daphne for her servant heart and for working together with students and staff in our district to make a difference. If you are interested in donating formal wear, please e-mail - lapage2@gmail.com

TAKE TIME TO THANK YOUR BUS DRIVER
It is National Love the Bus Month. Take time to recognize a special driver, or multiple drivers who go above and beyond to safely transport our students to and from school each day. Make them a card, give them a gift of appreciation or simply say "THANK YOU!" for everything they do. Want to shout it from the rooftops? You can share your story about a driver or employee in school transportation who deserves recognition for their efforts in supporting student safety on the American School Bus Council website (http://www.lovethebus.org/). Let’s focus the national spotlight on the individuals who safely transport children to and from school!
