NEEDED: Principal, Teacher & Staff Thank Yous

Friday, May 1 is School Principals' Day and May 4-8 is National Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. We'd like to share the love -- especially since we're apart this year. Take a moment and tell us about an Affton principal, assistant principal, teacher, and/or staff member who's made an impact on you or your students' lives. It can be in a 15-30 second video clip, and as simple as just THANK YOU or even a photo of a picture that a student created. (You can upload up to 5 different files if you want to thank a principal and a teacher or staff member separately.) We plan to create a video to share with our staff and on social media!

Click here to submit a photo or 15-30 second video.

ICYMI: Catch the SOAR Awards (Or Watch It Again!)

In case you missed the 24th Annual SOAR Awards last week, you can still catch it below. We had a great time celebrating the record-breaking 35 nominees for the SOAR (Service and Outstanding Achievement Recognition) Award, bestowed upon eight individuals who show excellence of character, performance, leadership, and service to Affton School District. In addition to recognizing SOAR nominees, building and district Teachers of the Year was announced and a special Superintendent’s Award was presented.
