MORNING ARRIVAL REMINDERS
The car rider doors will close promptly at 8:45 am. If your student arrives late to school, they must be escorted into the building.
Please park in the visitor's lot and walk him or her into the school building.
Please DO NOT park in front of the school building, as the school buses are unloading in that area. Thank you in advance for your support. Student safety is our top priority.
COLD WEATHER GUIDELINES FOR RECESS
Winter is here! Students are not permitted to remain inside the building during their recess. Please remind your child to dress appropriately for the weather. The cold weather guidelines for recess are shared below. Don't hesitate to contact your child's counselor if you need a coat.

Mrs. Onfrillo's Third Grade Class: What Do Illustrators Do?
Mrs. Onfrillo's third graders read the book What Do Illustrators Do? by Eileen Christelow. Then, on Wednesday, January 25th, a real illustrator visited the classroom! Beth Lynch, a Davis parent, has illustrated her first book. The students enjoyed a sneak peek at her amazing book! She talked to the class about the whole process and the tools she used. She even gave students their very own sketchbooks, so the kids could practice illustrating, too!
GIANT FEEDING SCHOOL KIDS ROUND UP PROGRAM
The Centennial School District is proud to be a part of the GIANT Feeding School Kids Round Up program! January 1-February 28, parents and community members can round up at the register to support public school district efforts working to eliminate childhood hunger. Through the Feeding School Kids initiative, public school districts like CSD can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries, supply extra weekend meals, and eliminate outstanding student meal debt. Join us as we round up to fight hunger within the Centennial School District! #CSDStrong #FeedingSchoolKids #EliminatingHunger #GOCSD
