High Expectations: Every Scholar, Every Day
A Word from Principal Haynes
Greetings Parents,
We have 7 days until the start of the FSA for our 4th and 5th graders! They have already taken the writing portion of their assessment and now have the ELA and Math to take as well as Science for our 5th graders. Let's make sure they are ready by having them in school on time each day!! We can move this school towards an A school, but we have to work hard!!
We have been able to extend the pre-sale window for yearbooks!! I am doing everything I can be make this an affordable purchase for your child. The yearbook is a hard cover book that will capture memories of this school year. If you did not get one last year and you want to see what it looks like, please stop by the front office. Everyone who purchases during the pre-sale window will have their names placed into a drawing for a $25 Publix gift card. That's like getting the yearbook for FREE!! Your support is critical!!
I want to ask ALL 5th grade parents to make the payment for the 5th Grade End-of-Year Activities taking place next month!! I want ALL of them to participate, but you must make a payment for them to do so. Let's send them out in their last few weeks of elementary school with great memories to last a lifetime!!
Also, please take a moment to complete the annual parent survey!! Your input and feedback is important in helping us to know how we are doing. You can click this survey link or the one below to complete it.
Thank you for all you do each and every day for our Village. Your support is appreciated!!
Let's make this another great week of High Expectations--Every Scholar--Every Day!!!
Wishing you an AMAZING and BLESSED week!!

ID Badges
Parents, we are making sure that all of our scholars have ID badges everyday. These are not typically sent home. Remember it is DISTRICT policy that all scholars wear their badge while on campus. The school is responsible for replacing the badges up to 3 times (costs approximately $200 for each batch). After this, a cost will be charged for the replacement. Please talk to your child about not chewing on the badges/sleeves, not throwing them away, not bringing them home, not leaving it on the bus, and anything else that could cause them to lose it.
Student Uniforms
Village Elementary is a mandatory unified dress code school. For security reasons, it is expected that all students are in uniform, Monday through Friday with the exception of designated school spirit days which will be announced ahead of time. The student dress code guidelines outlined in the Code of Student Conduct will be enforced. Repeated violations of the dress code may result in A REFERRAL FOR DEFIANCE OF AUTHORITY.
