Morning Drop Off for K-5 Students
- Drop off is between 7:40 and 7:45 AM. (Any student who enters after our 7:50 AM bell is considered tardy and must be escorted into the main office by an adult who can sign that student in.)
- Enter from the Klem South Drive & make a loop around our front parking lot.
- Drop students off at the base of the building at the crosswalk (Red X on map).
- Exit out of Klem South Drive.
- See map above.
After School Pickups
Our after school programs at Klem North have increased this year. Many of our children are attending WonderCare, fourth and fifth graders are participating in Activity Period, and soon our PTSA and other outside organizations plan on having clubs back up and running.
As a result, we want to streamline our pick up procedures. All families who are picking up their child(ren) from any of these after school programs listed above should report to Door #17 (when looking at the building, this door is to the right of the main entrance). For the safety and security of our students, a staff member will be at this door ready to greet you until 6:00 PM.
Just to clarify, our main office foyer will also still be the pick up location at our normal dismissal time (2:00 PM) and on all half days due to parent teacher conferences (10:00 AM).
Thank you,
Laura
Notes from the Nurse's Office
New York State Law requires students who are entering K,1,3 and 5th grades to submit a physical to the health office. Physicals AFTER 9/4/18 are acceptable for the 19/20 school year. If you received a notice and didn't submit, please do so ASAP. The District Physician will be coming in mid March to perform physicals on students who don't have a physical submitted. PLEASE send in with your student, email or have the pediatrician office fax a copy.
Please practice proper handwashing with your child. This includes soap and 20 seconds of washing, followed by rinsing and drying!!!!
If your child has a fever, they can’t return to school until they are fever free for 24 hours without assistance from fever-reducing medication like Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Advil/Motrin (ibuprofen).
The health office is still seeing cases of the Flu, strep and stomach viruses.
Does your student need medication given during the school day? We can do that. Have your pediatrician fax an order to the health office. A parent or guardian must be the one to drop off the medication.

MARCH = MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS and YOUTH ART MONTH!
Every year, school districts throughout the nation celebrate our student artists and musicians by recognizing March as Music In Our Schools Month (MIOSM) and Fine Arts Month. Webster CSD is no exception and invites you to join in the celebration by enjoying two musicals during the month of March. First up is Spry Middle School’s presentation of Fiddler on the Roof on Friday, March 6 through Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. nightly with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Please note that Spry will hold its performances at the Willink Middle School cafetorium due to construction at Spry. Tickets for Fiddler on the Roof Jr. are $7 each and can be bought online at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/37780.
Then, to wrap up MIOSM, the Webster Thomas Players will present the beloved classic, The Music Man, on Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28 nightly at 7:30 p.m. (plus a 2:00 p.m. matinee on March 28). Tickets are $12 and may be purchased by visiting www.websterthomasplayers.com.
Also be sure to visit www.websterschools.org for a detailed calendar listing of the MANY concerts throughout MIOSM, including the ever-popular Willink Middle School Parent/Student Band concert on Saturday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m. You can also see plenty of amazing student artists’ work at Central PTSA’s Community Arts Day upcoming on Saturday, April 18, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Webster Schroeder High School. Enjoy the art, performances, and delicious food during this family-friendly One Webster event!
