The Capsule 9/28/2018
Home of the Rockets
At Eastridge Elementary our mission is to develop a community of lifelong learners who will positively impact society.
HEALTHY CELEBRATIONS
While we love to celebrate , please remember that there is a “no birthday treats “ guideline. To access fun and helpful resources for healthy celebration ideas please visit the district wellness policy by clicking on this link. Also note that no birthday invitations are allowed to be distributed at school. It is school policy.
Greetings Eastridge Families!
This week during community time, our students focused on bullying and how to prevent it. Students engaged in meaningful conversations with their teacher and classmates about the different forms of bullying, how to report bullying, and how to be a difference maker. Students ended the week by signing an Anti-Bullying Agreement and watching a video on MOJ UP (Take a Stand and join the mission to make a difference).
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Students do not have school that day, but we do ask that they attend the 15-minute conference along with you. During the conference, you will have the chance to review your child's Term 1 Report Card and NWEA Scores, and discuss your child's progress so far this year. We do hope you will return the Conference Scheduling information as soon as possible to make sure you can reserve a meeting time that best fits your schedule.
As always, thank you for allowing Eastridge to educate your child.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Johnson
