David Ogilvie: Senior Consultant
Gemma Gourdie: Senior Consultant
Simon Mak: Senior Consultant
Simon was born and raised in Hong Kong. He has 15 years of retail banking experience in a few top tier international banks, focusing on channels’ strategy, planning and customer experience. Simon has a Bachelor and Master's Degree from the University of Manchester, UK. He has been a certified PMP since 2007. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking & travelling.
Mark Burke: Senior Consultant
Mark holds over 14 years of experience in Risk, Investigative Due Diligence and Strategic Change, having worked with Private Wealth firms, Investment Banks and Risk & Intelligence firms across Continental Europe and frontier/emerging markets in Asia. He specializes in risk analysis, governance models and product-platform development in Risk (Credit, Operational, Regulatory and Integrity), and Due Diligence (FCC and Investigations). Mark enjoys art galleries, writing short stories and training in parachuting and marksmanship.
Phoumin Phieu: Senior Consultant
Phoumin has more than 13 years of experience in the financial industry, with the last eight years in consulting. In recent assignments, he delivered large-scale programs for Asset Managers and Custodian banks focusing on Operational Excellence. Phoumin recently moved to Hong Kong from Paris, and he is the proud father of a 5-year-old daughter.
Michael Tran: Senior Consultant
Arriving in the Capco Hong Kong office in March 2015, Michael joins the regulation and compliance team as a Senior Consultant; bringing with him over 8 years of financial services industry experience, he has a strong background in end-to-end commercial lending lifecycle and credit risk management knowledge. Michael particularly enjoys stakeholder engagement, projects, process improvement and is a stickler for frameworks.
In his downtime he can be found repeating the first 4 bars of stairway to heaven on his guitar, or cooking coq au vin for the wife and steamed pumpkin for his little bub; otherwise he will be at the gym slowly chipping away at his Hong Kong belly, whilst listening to the latest 80’s music on his Walkman.
Bean Yip: Senior Consultant
Bean was born and educated in Hong Kong. His exposure in the banking industry is mainly on treasury back office processing in terms of system change management. He earned his MBA at Strathclyde Business School of Glasgow. In his leisure time, he is training himself for a triathlon.
Anuradha Pethia: Senior Consultant
Anuradha joins the Hong Kong team as a Senior Consultant in the capital markets and wealth management domain. During her 3 years with Capco in Bangalore, she has worked on different wealth management implementation and regulatory projects at Morgan Stanley. She holds a Masters Degree in International Economics Banking and Finance from Cardiff University.
Rachel Ho: Senior Consultant
Mario Cheung: Consultant
Mario was born and raised in Hong Kong and graduated from HKUST before joining the consulting industry, where he focused on IT strategy, process re-engineering, and Target Operating Model in both the FSI and public sector. In his spare time, he is currently practicing Mixed Martial Art and Brazilian Ju Jitsu, while he also enjoys doing some less intense “exercises” such as playing piano, guitar and drums. He is inviting Capconians who love music to join him for band jamming!
Deacon Choy: Contractor
Deacon was born in Hong Kong and took his undergraduate course in the UK. He also acquired his MBA in Information Technology Stream from the University of Hong Kong Polytechnic. He possesses extensive work experience in the implementation of insurance systems for various multi-national insurance companies. Deacon joined Capco in early March and was assigned to the HSBC Mandatory Provident Fund project.
Daphne Siew: Senior Consultant
Daphne joined the Capco Singapore team as a Senior Consultant in March. She has experience working in Regulatory Change projects (i.e. FATCA) for global financial institutions. She also has experience in Fraud Risk Management projects and Fraud Investigations. Daphne enjoys music and loves jamming/singing her weekend away.
Min Lin: Consultant
Min joined the Capco Singapore team as a Consultant in February. She has experience in business process improvement and 4 years of experience in infrastructure support and technology operations in the banking industry. Outside of work, Min enjoys reading and spending too much time on TED-Ed.
Ryan Ong: Principal Consultant
Ryan graduated and worked in Sydney, Australia, as an Accountant for several years before moving back to Malaysia. He then ventured into banking technology and has more than 10 years of system implementation experience for financial institutions across ASEAN, where he was significantly involved in strategic projects and transformation initiatives. He still dreams about becoming a chef some day.
Goh Bee Seem: Senior Consultant
Bee Seem was raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She started her career almost 20 years ago with a bank as a system end user. Throughout her work life, she has found that she loves project work life, hence, she started her role as a consultant with Financial Institutions about 10 years ago. Bee Seem graduated from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and she is a fellow member for the professional body now. She also possesses a Master of Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University, UK.
Belvis Aw: Senior Consultant
Belvis was born in Perak and graduated from the UK with a Bachelor's of Computer Science. He has over 13 years of experience in IT BPO Center and Shared Services Center, managing Global and Regional Projects in various industries such as Banking, Insurance, Oil and Gas, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical and FMCG. He enjoys spending his spare time with his 2 young kids.
Meera Raman: Senior Consultant
Meera was born and raised in Malaysia. She was educated and worked in Japan as well as Germany, and has extensive working experience in investment banking, Islamic finance, as well as project management. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship and business in creating a more equitable society. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and traveling.
Priscilla Tan: Senior Consultant
Andrea Lew: Consultant
Andrea has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Tunku Abdul Rahman and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland. She worked in healthcare and the manufacturing industry for several years. She has been in the banking industry for over 5 years, focusing on system implementations for cards, LOS and regulatory related projects.
Kelvin Tan: Consultant
Kelvin graduated from Multimedia University in Malaysia with a Bachelors Degree majoring in E-commerce. He started off his career in e-business consulting for the financial services industry and has more than 5 years experience in business analysis and project implementation. He enjoys cooking, badminton, snooker and jogging.
Rachel Leong: Consultant
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science with First Class Honours. Apart from academia, she continues to achieve excellence in the corporate world by winning the Best Team Awards, Best Auditing & Assurance. She has served a wide range of financial service clients, from insurance to asset management companies. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and travelling.
Wong Siao Yenn: Consultant
Siao Yenn started her career in Corporate Finance in CIMB Investment Bank and has executed multiple corporate transactions eg: Initial Public Offerings, Mergers and Acquisitions, equity fund raising and other capital market advisory transactions. Subsequently, she took up a role in consulting in Singapore, focusing in management and operational strategies, and recently relocated back to Malaysia. Siao Yenn has a Masters in Finance from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and loves travelling to the beaches for holidays.
