From the Principal
Dear Alpenglow Families,
I can’t believe November is here. November reminds us to be thankful for the many positive things happening in our life. There are many things that I am thankful for. I am most thankful and excited to see our kindergarten thru 2nd grade students in person starting November 16, 2020.
All of us here at Alpenglow have been working hard to address key points in making sure everyone is safe. Below you will find a few links regarding Alpenglow’s School Site Plan for Back in School. Our plan addresses our procedures for all of our students as they return to school. It is a working document and will be refined as needed.
I ask that you review the following:
Bullet point summary of School Site Plan HERE.
For more detailed information outlining our School Site Plan, it is HERE.
I want to thank those families that completed the survey that was sent out. Your responses help us plan for the return to face to face instruction.
Nurse Jeanine and I will be hosting an informational meeting on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 5:30pm via Zoom. Use this link to join the meeting HERE. During the meeting, we will cover our health and safety procedures. This meeting is for all families that would like to attend; however, it is most important that our kindergarten, first, and second grader’s families join us.
In preparation for our return to school, all classes will be asynchronous on Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13. There is no school for students on Wednesday, November 11.
I know you have a tough decision to make. I hope the information in this letter gives you the information you need to make the best decision for your family. Please let me, the office, or your teacher know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
Principal Demetree-Trombley
