Important Dates
- Monday, December 4th - Evening of the Arts at the Learning Corridor Theater at 6:30
- Wednesday, December 6th - 12:00 dismissal for parent-teacher conferences
- Thursday, December 7th - 12:00 dismissal for parent-teacher conferences
- Friday, December 8th - 12:00 dismissal for parent-teacher conferences
- Friday, December 22nd - 12:00 dismissal for the start of winter vacation
Learning Corridor Digital Permission Slip
Hello Arts Middle Families,
Next week is our first Evening of the Arts on Monday, December 4th at 6:30 at the Learning Corridor Theater. Students who are performing brought home permission slips last week. Please return the permission slip ASAP if you have not already done so.
In addition, all students need to have a permission slip to the learning corridor filled out in order to attend the matinee performance on December 5th. Please use the link below to complete the quick Learning Corridor permission slip. You only have to fill this one out once all year!

Dress Code Reminders
All students are expected to dress appropriately and to maintain personal appearance reflecting the high standards of Arts Middle. In order to maintain an environment conducive to the learning process the items listed below from being worn during the school day. Violations of the school’s dress code lead to disruptions of the learning process and are therefore subject to progressive disciplinary action. Students in violation of the dress code must correct the violation or remain out of the student population until a parent is able to bring in suitable clothing.
Headphones and ear buds are not allowed in classrooms, the hallway, or bathrooms
Cell phones are not allowed in classrooms, the hallway, or bathrooms
Outerwear (i.e. coats, jackets, hoodies) should be placed in student’s locker upon arriving to school
Hats, hoods, wave caps, headbands, kerchiefs, bandanas, curlers (unless headwear is part of a student’s religious practice) should be placed in the student’s locker upon arriving to school
Short shorts and skirts more than a hand’s length above the knee
Camisole tops (spaghetti straps), tank tops, low necklines and backlines any and all strapless tops; the chest must be covered and not showing cleavage
Bare midriffs; the abdomen must be covered
Any clothing that reveals any part of an individual’s undergarments or is transparent
Clothing that is either too tight or too loose than the student’s physical size would require
Sunglasses (unless required by a doctor’s orders)
Any clothing marked with obscene, suggestive language, or indecent pictures, writing, inappropriate slogans, sexually suggestive and/or drug/alcohol advertisements
Any item that may be used as a weapon or which may present a safety hazard to the student, other students or staff
Flip-flops and sandals are hazardous and may not be worn on school grounds - Students are required to wear appropriate footwear at all times
Pajamas may not be worn at school
