Thinking Ahead to Next Year...And End of Year Project
Have students leave advice for future students who will be taking your class or have students write informative letters to their future teachers. Encourage students to incorporate technology by creating documents in Google Docs. For a multimedia project have students create a year in review or favorite memories video Education world has a sample lesson here - Thinking Ahead Project.
End of Year Photo Slideshows
There are multiple ways you can create end of the year photo slideshows. Many teachers enjoy putting these together to see how students have changed over the year. If you would like to create a slideshow set to music or student narrations there is a tool that make this very simple. Microsoft Photo Story is a basic, yet effective, program already installed on your teacher laptop. Photo Story allows you to add images, music, short captions and student narrations to your slideshow. Photo Story Reference Guide
