DIY:
Backyard Baseball!
- Were you looking forward to the yearly softball game? Nothing can replace playing a game with or against Abe Lincoln, but you can still play a good ol’ game of ball with the 2002 classic Backyard Baseball video game.
Origami Zoo: Day 3 -Tiger
- Create one origami animal per day, and by the end of the week, you’ll have a zoo to keep you company at your desk! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNWQmqAcz-U
My Favorite YouTube Video - Cate Denial & Todd Heidt
- Here is the favorite video of Cate Denial, Bright Professor of American History and Chair of History! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CPvza1HfVU
- Here is the favorite video of Todd Heidt, Associate Professor of Modern Languages (German) and Chair of International Studies! It's a music video by a great German punk band, Feine Sahne Fischfilet. The song is titled "Zuhause" or "At Home," and the video explores what home means. They visit everyone from the very comfortable to the homeless, tiny houses with great mobility and refugees trapped in the system. I love the band (who have a strong social justice bent), and I've been thinking about this song a lot as the world has been on lockdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmHTcxY0S8Y
The Main Event
- Are you feeling lucky? Compete against other Knox students in a live game of Bingo! The link to the event will be sent shortly before the start of the game. The game will start at 9 PM CDT.
