News From 3D
As each Thanksgiving approaches, I like to remind myself of what I am truly thankful for. While of course my family and friends come to mind, I'm also incredibly thankful for my students and for the opportunity to teach them and watch them grow. I must also extend a warm thank you to all the families and parents who have welcomed me so graciously to Stoy.
Wishing you a happy, healthy holiday. May your Thanksgiving gathering be as fun as it is tasty!
Third Visit From Officer Hoopes
Officer Hoopes visited our classroom on Tuesday as part of our Adopt a Cop program. We discussed how to be safe during the holiday season. His lesson focused on shopping and mall safety and what to do if you were to get lost in a store. In addition, Officer Hoopes had some good pointers about Christmas tree safety such as not placing trees by a fireplace or blocking a doorway.
Thank You to Our Fabulous Room Moms!
Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Brumbaugh are our classroom room moms and they sure know how to organize a great, fun-filled Halloween party. The kids (and I) had a blast! Thank you so much for serving delicious treats and engaging the students in creative Halloween games. We appreciate all you do and all your hard work.
