Big picture

Dear Families-Read on for the News

There is no school next week 11/22 - 11/26 for Thanksgiving Break!

Congratulations to 4th Grade Teacher Renee Hill

PPCS teacher Renee Hill was recently recognized by the national organization of EL Education. Renee was nominated by her peers for the prestigious Klingenstein award and was one of the top three finalists. She was asked to speak at the EL 2021 Virtual Summit on her 4th grade Confluence of Cultures expedition. Congratulations Renee!!

We Are Filled With Gratitude

Thank you to Juan Albaitero, Brian Gardner, Harry Moore, and David Herbold for installing our musical playground instruments and surrounding them with bark. Thank you also to staff members Maddie Day and Seth Toebben for installing the personalized bricks from our capital campaign. Our playground and school grounds continue to become more fun, intentional and beautiful thanks to the donations and the volunteer efforts of so many. We so appreciate our CREW!!

7th Graders Help Beautify Our Grounds

The 7th grade class, with the help of native plant expert David Herbold, have contributed to beautifying the PPCS grounds by planting wildflower seeds. These seeds will grow into plants that protect our soil, provide food for pollinators and help to keep native Palouse Prairie plants in existence. The seeds are fragile. Please stay on the sidewalks and stairs and off of exposed ground, especially areas marked by stakes. Please help us ensure that next spring we will get to see our native plants germinate and grow.

Third Grade Needs Your Help

The 3rd grade class could use your help with their fall final product. They are looking for kids in Moscow, Kindergarten through 6th grade, who could give feedback on their playground surveys: https://palouseprairieschool.org/grade-3/city-of-moscow-milton-arthur-park-survey/. Please help them out by sharing this link with all the students you know!
