Mustang Minutes

February 8-12, 2021 Year 8, Week 23

This week at Saddle Ridge:

Mask Mandate on the WCS Buses

If your child rides a bus, they are now required to wear a mask for the health and well being of all students and staff members on the bus. The buses will have masks available for students. They need to wear the mask while they are in transit from their bus stop to the school. Students can keep their masks in their backpacks once they get off the bus so they can have it for their ride home. This is a mandate from the President for all public transportation. Thank you in advance for helping us with this matter. If you wish to transport your child to school rather than have them ride the bus, please contact the transportation department so they can alter their routes.

Animal Shelter Donations- We have a group of civic minded students that want to help out local animal shelters by collecting donations of dog food, cat food, old blankets, towels and newspapers. All items are due by February 11. Students can take the items to Room 215 , Mrs. Betts Berry.

Mustang Memos Celebrated

Saddle Ridge teachers write up students for positive office referrals for good behavior, goal achievement ,being a good friend and many more reasons. These students recently were "written up" and sent to the principal's office so that their families could be notified. We love sharing postive referrals with our parents!

Who Doesn't ❤️ Hot Cocoa?

Our PBIS team asked teachers to select students to participate in a hot cocoa bar for a variety of reasons ( good grades, goal accomplishment, good behavior, etc). The hot cocoa bar was just another way of celebrating our students postive behaviors in the building.
Check out our PBIS Website

At Saddle Ridge, we expect all students to show Mustang Pride in every aspect of their lives! We expect students to be respectful and responsible. Our Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program shows our students just how to do it.
