Mustang Memo
November 2022
Here's what's happening at East Meadows....
November is one of my favorite months because I get to reflect on all the things I am grateful for. This year I am THANKFUL for the East Meadows staff, students, PTA and school community!
We will be bringing in the holiday season with several engaging events for students in November including our Veteran's Day Assembly, Penny Wars for Charity and our first ever Turkey Trot and Gobble Off Contest. We also have our Cougar Built assembly complete with Cosmo and the BYU Dunk Team as well as the BYU Performing Arts Center coming to perform the play Go Dog, Go!
Should be a fun-filled month of THANKFULNESS!

Veteran's Day is Friday, November 11th
Penny Wars for Warm The Soles!
Save up your spare change and share it for a great cause!
Students use silver coins or dollar bills to build up their own grade level team bank and then "attack" other teams with pennies which count as negative points. We will compete to see which grade level teams can earn the most for charity.
The games begin on Monday, November 14th!
GET YOUR GOBBLE ON!
During lunch recess, students can run or walk around a designated course and earn tickets toward a drawing for many fun prizes.
Students are also invited to enter our Gobble-Off Contest. Each class will hold a competition and nominate a candidate for our school-wide Gobble Off to be held at the end of the day Tuesday, November 22nd.
