What is Lymph Node Cancer?
Lymph Node Cancer; also known as Lymphoma, is a tumor in the lymphoid tissue. It is a cancer in the immune system that can start right on the nodes or start somewhere else and spread to the nodes. There are two type; Hodgkins Lymphoma, and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Sypmtoms:
- swelling in groin, neck, & underarms
- ear pain
- fever
- abdominal discomfort
- night sweats
- fatigue
- weight loss
Testing Procedures
- biopsy (removal of nodes)
- needle biopsy (sample of nodes)
- scans or imaging tests

- estimated 761,659 people living with lymphoma
- now considered to be 1 of the most curable cancers
- 20,940 deaths in 2015
- survival rate is 93.7%
