Family Dinner Conversation from the Sunday Scriptures: On April 30th, the second reading from 1Peter says: "When he was insulted, he returned no insult;when he suffered, he did not threaten;
instead, he handed himself over to the one who judges justly."
What lesson can we learn from Jesus in the way we respond to poor treatment from others? How easy is it to turn the other cheek instead of responding in retaliation or revenge? Words are very powerful. How can we practice patience, and prudence, with our response to harsh words or treatment without feeling bullied or bruised by another?

A Family Easter Celebration: It Lasts 50 Days - Janet Schaeffler, OP
It might often be thought that faith formation leaders are called to work with today's children and youth. While that is certainly true, our ministry does not stop there. Leaders are called to minister to the whole family, to encourage and empower the spirituality of the entire family, not just the children.
INSPIRED BY THE SAINTS!
"Love follows knowledge."
“What is it you want to change? Your hair, your face, your body? Why? For God is in love with all those things and he might weep when they are gone.
"God is more willing to pardon, then we have been to sin."
"We trust and believe in what we love."
"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire!"
"Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring."
Choose one quote to contemplate as a family. What do you think it means? How does it apply to something you experience or know? How can you be motivated to act differently because of this quote or how might others be guided by it?
