Te Whare Akoranga o Maungawhau, May 26, 2022
From The Principal
Kia ora koutou,
Well done to all our Zone Football participants on an outstanding result this week, with the girls winning the Zone, and the boys bringing home 2nd place overall.
There was great pace, energy and competitive team spirit on the day, ably led by our Sports coordinator, Karen Moore, Becky Boyes and Brad McMahon, together with the parents who supported on the day.
Looking ahead to next week, an important reminder that Friday, 3 June is our scheduled Teacher Only Day (with school also closed on Monday, 6 June for the Queen's Birthday weekend public holiday).
Teachers will be focused on assessment and preparation for mid-year reports and conferences, more information on which will be sent home closer to the time.
Finally, our thanks to all those families who participated in the PTA's 'Magic Spells' fundraiser once again. At a time when the PTA events calendar has continued to navigate COVID-related challenges, this event already looks to have been a huge success, with many children excited by the challenge and putting in the mahi to learn their chosen list.
As always, we appreciate the support, and look forward to further PTA and community events on the horizon soon!
