Always give children confidence when they do a task, Also when you make decisions for the child, explain your reasoning in a way they will understand you.
Give Praise and Encouragement
Every Time a child does something right make sure you praise or reward them. Explain to them what they did well and why they did it well and then give them some sort of positive statement or treat afterwards.
Be sure the child has the ability to perform a given task to help avoid frustration and failure. Give the child plenty of time and opportunity to practice.
Give boys and girls opportunities to develop a wide range of skills. It can include skills such as making breakfast or learning how drive screws or proud nails.
