More Than 100 Home Visits by Mr. Sanders!
With our diverse student body, home visits are paramount in bridging cultural gaps that might exist. These visits also provide opportunities for staff to understand their students better by visiting them in their home environments. The goal is to foster a true partnership - with both students and their families.
Mr. Sanders from Frontier STEM High School has visited over 100 students this year! Thank you Mr. Sanders, you have done a wonderful job creating lasting relationships with your students and their families!
Check out his interview below to learn about what motivates him to create deeper connections with his students and their families:

Playground Project! Donations Welcomed!
FSI Elementary is home to K - 3rd grade classes for approximately 500 students. These school years offer them their last opportunity to still be kids before moving on to middle school.
With our increased enrollment, recess on the playground at FSI Elementary needs additional space and updated equipment. We hope that you will be able to join us in funding a much needed playground. Any support will be highly appreciated by Frontier Schools and the students we serve. Can we count on your support? If so, click here to complete your secure online donation. If you have any questions, please email Jennifer Watson at jwatson@frontierschools.org.
Note: All donations are tax-deductible and a donation receipt will be provided.
FSI Book Fair
During the week of November 13-17th, both FSI Elementary and Middle School hosted their semi-annual Book Fair in their school’s library. Each classroom scheduled times for students to visit and browse the selection of new books, games, school supplies, and holiday themed items. Students created wishlists after their visits to share with their families. The Book Fair stayed open after school for families to come purchase the items off of their child/ren’s wish list.
Bully Prevention Week
Family Literature Night
On November 9th, Frontier School of Innovation Elementary hosted a Family Literature Night. Each quarter, elementary families and students are invited to the school after hours for some educational fun and games with teachers and staff. Families get the chance to earn a free book from the Kansas City Public Library by completing rotational activities in various classrooms with staff and teachers.
A representative from Girl Scouts was also there to educate and provide information about joining the Girl Scouts and how parents can become troop leaders.
