Holiday Greetings!
Moving into the second half of the school year, we have exciting plans on the horizon. Our focus will remain on providing a well-rounded education that nurtures the academic, social, and emotional development of our wildcat students. We will continue our dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive community where every individual can thrive.
I encourage parents and guardians to stay involved and engaged in your child's education. Your partnership is crucial to our continued success. Please feel free to contact your child's teacher with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and I look forward to the continued growth and success of our students and our wildcat community.

First Semester Highlights 💫
Wildcat Way Day
When students have learned the rules and expectations in the school, it sets a foundation for a positive and safe learning environment. To reinforce and maintain a culture of understanding school expectations, students have participated in Wildcat Way day.
During Wildcat Way Day, students visit the playground, a bus, the cafeteria, and restrooms. Staff members are placed at each location to review with students the expectations in each area.

🛑 Safety Patrol 🛑
The school safety patrol is a student-led initiative aimed at promoting safety and order within the school community. Under the supervision of Officer Nate, the safety patrol is composed of responsible and trustworthy students who are given specific responsibilities to help ensure the well-being of their peers. The main goals of a school safety patrol are to enhance the overall safety of the school environment and foster a sense of responsibility among students.
Key features of a school safety patrol program may include:
Morning Drop-Offs: Safety patrollers assist students in the morning at the parent drop off. They may wear distinctive vests or badges to make them easily recognizable.
Afternoon Dismissal: Safety patrollers assist with bus loading in the afternoon.
Positive Peer Influence: The safety patrol program promotes leadership and responsibility among students. Those selected for the safety patrol often serve as positive role models for their peers, encouraging a culture of safety and respect.
Training and Certification: Members of the safety patrol must complete safety assessment to ensure they understand their responsibilities. Once students complete the assessment, Officer Nate swears them into the patrol.
Implementing a school safety patrol provides students with valuable leadership experiences and a sense of responsibility. It fosters a culture where students actively contribute to the well-being of their school community.
