Ms. Gabos' Newsletter
Week of Monday, January 28th
This Week in Room 508:
We will finish up our math choice boards and they will be sent home this week. We will be reading books by the author Jan Brett. We will compare and contrast her books and practice retelling one of her stories "The Mitten".
We will be playing a fun game throughout this entire week to help us continue to learn our sight words. Each student will be given a different sight word to attach to their shirt. The students will call each other by their sight word name for the whole week. (ex. if my sight word was "and" the students would have to call me "and" to get me to respond)
If you would like a copy of the sight words to practice at home please email me and I will send you one.
