VOLLEYBALL SIGNUPS
MONDAY, OCT. 1, 7:00 p.m., EXT. DAY
You will have one last chance to register your 4th-8th grade girls for volleyball. After this, rosters need to be set. If you wish to download and pre-fill the paperwork, you can find the five forms you need here, under Athletics. FMI, call coordinator Robert Dabrowski, 708-418-5061.

Scholastic Book Fair
OCTOBER 1, 4, & 5
IN THE LIBRARY
Our Book Fair will be open to the public M/Th from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and from 8-Noon on Friday (closed during Mass). The children will have a chance to shop during the week (the shopping schedule came home in the Thursday Envelope). We also need Virtus trained adult helpers--please visit the Book Fair SignUp link for the complete schedule and areas of need.
If you prefer to shop online, our link is active September 26-October 9. There is a larger, expanded selection available there, and your purchase will be shipped to the school for FREE!
Kindness Adventure Assembly
Wednesday, October 3, 1:30 - 2:15 p.m.
Last spring, we welcomed the NED Show for a special assembly where our students learned a very important lesson in a very fun way:- Never give up
- Encourage others
- Do your best
Next week, we will participate in NED's Kindness Adventure, an assembly designed to inspire our students to be kind-hearted and caring. Be sure to ask your children what lessons they take away!
GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL PERSONS DAY
FRIDAY, OCT. 5, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Who is special to your child? A grandparent, aunt, uncle, a neighbor, YOU? Every student is invited to bring a special guest to school! The schedule is as follows:
- 7:30 a.m. Students arrive to school at the usual time.
- 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Doors open for Special Guests to arrive. They are welcome to bring their students to the Scholastic Book Fair in the School Library.
- 9:30 a.m. Classroom visits begin. Jr. High will meet in the School Hall for the Scholastic Showdown.
- 10:15 a.m. We will head over to Church together for our all-school Mass.
- 11:30 a.m. Special Guests may sign their students out from Church. The Book Fair will open again for more shopping. Children who will be remaining at school will proceed to Extended Day with their teachers.
Please help us with our planning by returning the RSVP form that came home in the Thursday envelope this week.
