Advanced STEM+

Training the Next Generation of Future Pioneers

What is Advanced STEM+?

Advanced STEM+ is a STEM charter high school for those who are primarily talented in math and science. The school guides students in their path to a STEM career and a prestigious college. We work with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for our curriculum and lab experiments. Due to this, students in Advanced STEM+ are expected to be logical, smart, creative, mature and overachieving.

What does Advanced STEM+ do?

Advanced STEM+ focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students are challenged excessively on those subjects and are required to take them every year in Advanced STEM+. School starts at 7:30 and ends at 2:05.

How do I have my child get into Advanced STEM+?

Advanced STEM+ will only take rising freshmans, sophomores, and juniors that reside in Middlesex County in Massachusetts. Students enrolling as a Freshman must have had all A's in 7th and 8th grade and pass a math and science exam given by the school. Students enrolling as a sophomore and junior must have had all A's in their previous grade, have a good teacher recommendation, and pass a math and science exam given by the school.

Should I send my child to Advanced STEM+?

Advanced STEM+ is rigorous on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students that show interest and talent and want to be in a career in those subjects should definitely try out for the school.
