The Oregon Trail
Traveling the Trail
Fun but Challenging
The Oregon trail was a manifest destiny for a lot of people. Though the trail faces a lot of challenges along the way. Such as a Rattlesnake bite or a Scorpion bite. Another type of challenge is a fight. The Indians sometimes attack wagon trains and create a gun fight or a fist fight. Sometimes the ride could be fun like playing games or making music. Another fun thing to do also is to listen to the story that is told each day. Work is also a thing that is important. Helping make dinner, milking the cow, and finding water.
Rattlesnake
The rattlesnake is a fear along the trail. Their bites can be deadly and require good care.
Covered Wagon
The Pioneers would ride in covered wagons to get to Oregon. The wagon has very little space so you have to pack very little.
The Trail
This trail was a new opportunity for people to start a new life with a better job or better farmland to farm on.
