**4th and 5th graders with projects on the internet MUST bring their Chromebooks...CHARGED.

1st Semester

I can't believe we are almost at the end of the 1st semester. The new program design took a little getting used to, but now we have everything running smoothly.

With the end of the semester and the finished TPSP's come rubrics and semester evaluations. Plan on seeing these two documents in your student's January report card. If you have any questions over those documents when you receive them, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can contact me at kmajority@littleelmisd.net .

Students: Challenge yourself over the Winter Break

Winter Break is a time to have fun and relax after a busy semester of hard work, but you should still challenge yourself. I have a challenge for you and I cannot wait to see how you tackle it.

I don't know about you, but in December I produce a lot of trash. I clean my house and throw out old clothes and things and at family celebrations we throw out boxes, wrapping paper, and ribbons. Wouldn't it be fun to do something with these things?

Challenge: Using recycled materials, make something that will help around the house (either inside or out). Maybe you'll create the next big kitchen helper or a device that cleans the garage: The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours!

Bring your device to WIN after Winter Break to WOW your teacher and classmates. Be ready to describe how your invention works. (You will probably get a special prize from Ms. Majority...hint, hint) STAY CHALLENGED!
