On September 17, 1862, Robert E. Lee and George McClellan faced off. It is important because the battle of Antietam was the introduction to the Revolution.
Battle of Gettysburg
From July 1 to July 3, 1863. Turning point in Revolution war. Robert E. Lee (confederate army leader) marched his army to Pennsylvania from Northern Virginia. General George G. Meade (union army leader) clashed confederates at crossroads town of Gettysburg.
The Battle of Vicksburg
The battle of vicksburg was fought from spring 1862 to July of 1863. John C. Pemberton was the Confederate army leader, Ulysses S. Grant was the Union army leader. Union forces took stronghold on Confederate army at Vicksburg between Mississippi river and Memphisto.
