my animal is a mammal and a carnivore it's life span is 8 to 9 years in the wild it even weighs 11 to 30 pounds or 5 to14 kilograms

male and females look a lot alike so you would never know witch is witch and a kind of very slim body the matting seson it starts from December and it ends at April and the river otter will go up to as many females for matting still like i until they find just the right one but wen the he finds the right one the male will play with with the female if she still likes him and if so she will push the female away and then they will mate 60 to 63 days latter a litter will be born 2 or 3 babys will be born and every year a litter of babys will weigh 4.6 ounnes . and wen the river otter is a baby the mother will haft to pull it in the water by its nech and that is how they learn how to swim
