BG Open House 9/8
This year BG will be hosting an Open House Event for all students and their families on Thursday September 8, from 5-7pm. This evening event is in lieu of our traditional Curriculum Night of years ago. Curricular information will be shared by teachers in various ways throughout the school year. During this Open House Event families will get to visit their child's classroom and other learning spaces throughout the school.
Due to our parking space shortage we ask families to follow the schedule below:
Families with last names A-M: 5:00-5:45pm
Families with last names N-Z: 6:00-6:45pm
We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday September 8.
Picture Day - 9/12
This is a prepay site and ordering will be closed at Midnight the day of Picture Day, 9/12, to process the orders.
*Click on image below for directions and event code
If parents miss prepaying they will have a chance to order pictures with their child's Ticket Code. When placing an order after Picture Day with a Ticket Code a shipping fee will be added on and picture packages will be shipped directly to the home.
Ticket Codes will be delivered with the bulk picture package order approximately three weeks post Picture Day.
BG Best
We will be awarding students BG Bucks to spend in our BG store as well as to purchase different experiences with teachers, such as nail painting, craft or picnic lunch. In addition to recognizing individual students we are also recognizing classrooms for following BG Best. Each classroom can receive a ticket for the above behaviors and then be rewarded with a class incentive after 10 tickets are earned. This system allows for school wide incentives like Bingo, lunchroom movie day, or Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader games.
Please take a look at the scheduled "shop" days. Be sure to ask your child about what they are saving for or why they received their BG Bucks.
