WMS Weekly Warrior

Week of 4-8-19

Principal's Post

Good afternoon WMS community,

This weekend the Nonnewaug High School Drama department held their annual play “Into the Woods”. This community event held here at WMS was a hit for all who attended. WMS was proud to host the high school students as the auditorium at the high school is undergoing renovation. WMS also had its own representation as Mr. Gorski was the Musical Director and eighth grade student Emily Lungarini was a member of the orchestra. Congratulations to all the students involved. Friday the drama club shared a "teaser" with the students of WMS giving them a taste of the full production.

Spring sports are up and running with games for softball and baseball beginning soon. Track finalized their tryouts and the team was named on Friday. Have a great season and Go Warriors!

Parents in the Middle (PIM) will meet on 4-9 at 2:30 in the WMS LMC.

Spring Vacation begins next week. Just a reminder, students who are absent for early or extended vacations are responsible for missing work. Please see the policy in the student handbooks at www. ctreg14.org

Enjoy the week and the next edition of the Weekly Warrior will be 4-22
