Defintion
Communism is a way of organizing a society in which the government owns the things that are used to make and transport products (such as land, oil, factories, ships, etc.) and there is no privately owned property
Pros and Cons of Communism
Pros:
- No social gap.
- Little to no unemployment.
- Government protection.
The main idea: Peasants, who were primarily impoverished, had no need to fear a low social class, as everyone is equal under a Communist government.
Cons:
- High poverty rates.
- Little economic growth.
- Censorship.
- High government intervention.
- Little freedom.
- Strict laws.
