Recess Survey
In the upcoming weeks, Student Council will be surveying classrooms on what we can provide as a school to improve activities for outdoor recess.
Suggestions could include bean bag toss, more 4 square balls, goals/nets, etc.
Girls on the Run
The season began on April 7th, 2019. The team had wonderful weather! as they held their first session at the MHS track! If you'd like to join or learn more, there is still time. Please read below for additional information.
Girls on the Run inspires 3rd – 8th grade girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using an experienced based curriculum that integrates running. Throughout the ten-week program, the girls learn important life skills through interactive lessons and running games. The program ends with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k event.
This spring, the program will be offered for NPS girls, 3rd thru 5th grade, by Girls on the Run.
Practices will be held at Normandy Park School, Wednesdays (3:30pm to 4:45pm), and at the Morristown High School track, Sundays (1:00pm to 2:15pm).
Thank you to our parent volunteer coaches, Elham Mehdizadeh and Richard Nause, for volunteering their time to run this great program!

Celebrating Student Partnerships!
As a school, it is great to see the interaction between our older and younger students. It truly reflects the community emphasis that Normandy Park School values greatly.
Senior students help in different ways throughout the school. Some of our Senior students work with younger students as art, gym, lunch, and library helpers. Another way Senior students help out is through our Reading Buddies program. At times throughout the year, Senior students read with or to our Primary students.
It is great to see the support, care, and partnership across grade levels!
Parent Teacher Conference This Week!
This week, Normandy Park School will have Parent Teacher Conferences on April 10th and 11th.
We are looking forward to having parents in to showcase and discuss student progress and accomplishments. For spring conferences (Intermediate and Seniors), students participate in their own conference. This allows students to take ownership on discussing achieved and future goals.
