Revolution by Deborah Wiles
- 2nd book of the "Sixties Triology" but you don't need to read them in order
- Takes place during the "Freedom Summer" in Mississippi in 1964. Tells the story of 12 year old Sunny, who's white, and Raymond, a "colored boy," and how their lives are so different. Their paths keep crossing until something happens that threatens the whole town.
- Included in the book are real song lyrics, photos, newspaper articles, and speeches from that time period.
