SACBS Bulldogs Beat
September 10, 2021
Dear Bulldog Families & Friends,
We had an amazing 5th week of school. Everyone is following class procedures and protocols, and classes are running smoothly. There is excitement in the air as our students are learning new things. Our faculty and staff work tirelessly to provide a great environment as students reach new heights on their spiritual and academic journey.
This week marks the halfway point to report cards. All students received a hard copy of their progress reports to take home for this first quarter. This is to ensure that you are aware of the grades they are earning. You have access to the most up to date grades through the parent portals. If they are doing well, please commend them on a job well done and encourage them to keep up the good work. If they are struggling, there is still time for them to work hard and bring up the grades before the quarter ends. This might also be a good time to contact the teacher to see how you can work together to help them.
The most important thing is to keep the lines of communication open so that we can work collaboratively together in the best interest of your child's education. Thank you for partnering with us on this journey and for choosing St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School! Go Bulldogs!
God Bless,
Mrs. Runnels

Congratulations to our St. Teresa of Calcutta Award Recipients August 2021
St. Teresa of Calcutta dedicated her life to helping the poor, and was considered one of the greatest humanitarians of the 20th century. She once said, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."
Teachers felt that the following students display similar qualities that Mother Teresa did, and are exemplarily ambassadors of St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School:

Friday Fun in Aftercare with Crafts!
Friday in aftercare was a fun day creating jeweled magnetic clothespins. Students had a blast creating their own design of shapes and colors. Jaden was a terrific helper assisting the younger children in gluing and setting the stones. Students will bring them home on Monday and parents can place the clips on their refrigerator to attach special notices or artwork. We had so much fun we created extra special clips for the wonderful ladies in our office.
