We went to Boquete!
By: Chloe Pruitt and Elizah Smith
The Land Forms We Saw.
Caldera River
When we went to Caldera River we learned that it is a river of Panama. It passes through the town of Boquete and flows through the Volcán Barú National Park in Chiriqui. It flooded its banks in November 2008.
Volcán Barú National Park
When we learned about Caldera River, and that it flows though Volcán Barú National Park, we wanted to learn about it and that the Volcán Barú is the tallest mountain in Panama, at 3,474 meters high. It lies about 35 km off the border of Costa Rica. The elevation is 11,398' (3,474 m) and the cool thing is the last eruption was in 1550.

Adventures We Did In Boquete, Panama.
White Water Rafting
We went white water rafting, it was amazing and fun! The rapids were great, The equipment was good and the guides were professional. We felt absolutely safe at all times, We also saw some monkeys in the trees during our ride.Hiking On The Quetzal Trail
We went hiking on The Quetzal Trail. It runs uphill nearly all the way to Cerro Punta.
We ran into some people, and they said to get a guide, so we wouldn't get seriously lost. They also said maps are worthless, but when we started uphill we had a great time!
This Was Our Breakfast
Our kind of fast food
The fastest food we ate in Panama is served in fond-as, or street carts. The latter serves food sizzling hot on fajita pans -- not your typical mass-produced fast food, but oh so delicious.
Our Cup of Coffee
Every day in Panama we started with a cup of Panamas coffee. It ranked among the world's best.
