Face coverings will be required to enter and be worn at all indoor and outdoor school facilities. Once seated, spectators may relax face coverings once proper social distancing has been established. Spectators may also relax face coverings when seated between other household units. Social Distancing = A distance of 6 feet between people. If available, spectators will be able to purchase a disposable mask for $1.00.
Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 9
With recent changes in contact tracing guidelines, and in an effort to provide students with a fun homecoming experience, it has been decided that a homecoming parade will be held on Friday, Oct. 9th at 2:30pm. The parade route will be around the Sully Town Square and will include elementary classes, middle school students, and junior high and high school activities programs. There will be no pep rally at the conclusion of the parade.
Following the parade, high school students are dismissed for the day, while K-8 students will report back to their respective buildings and be dismissed at 3:30pm. To limit the number of visitors in the building, we are asking K-8 parents who attend the parade to wait until 3:30 to pick up your student as part of our regular dismissal. As with all activities, students and staff will be required to wear masks. Community members who decide to attend are highly encouraged to wear masks and social distance.
Bond Issue Facility Update
On Monday, October 5, 2020, the school board approved design drawing for the updated HVAC system in the K-8 and high school building, new security entrance updates, new football & track concession stand and restroom facility (see picture below), and new multipurpose room (see picture below). Construction should begin in March 2021.
