SCS Happenings: March 29, 2021
Saint Catharine of Siena, pray for us.
From One Wildcat to Another...
A great week with more students in the building. We are looking forward to having our 8th, 6h, and 5th grade back next week.
As the weather warms and windows begin to open, your student may become a little chilly. Please have your student pack their handbook-approved gym sweatshirt or gym jackets for such an occasion. Although spring uniforms are coming soon, the days may still be chilly, so please plan accordingly. We thank you in advance for your kind cooperation and adherence to the school uniform dress code.
During this "Holy" Week, Monsignor Treston asked us this week at mass to add a little something to make this week a true "Holy Week". He stressed that it did not have to be a huge undertaking, just a little something out of the ordinary for us as an individual. Perhaps say an extra Hail Mary, say the Rosary, attend adoration, attend a weekday mass...
The Seventh Grade, under the direction of Mr. Tomczyk, Mrs. Stroud, Mrs. Lavanga, and Mrs. Heiser completed their Lenten Gift of the Presentation of the Living Stations for you. It is our hope that you can find a few minutes of quiet time and serenity to view and pray with our students as you view this beautiful version of the Way of the Cross. Thank you, Seventh Grade, for this beautiful prayer.
Please be assured of our continued prayers for you and your family. May you have a joyous Easter with family and friends, a peaceful moment to yourself, and time to rest, relax, and rejuvenate with those who love you most.
We look forward to seeing everyone Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in the spring uniforms.
Thank you for all you do today, tomorrow, and always. Saint Catharine of Siena, pray for us.
Air high fives to all,
Mrs. Marcella Kraycik

Lunch
We encourage the packing of nut-free lunches this year. Due to COVID restrictions, the students are eating in various places around our campus. They are dining either in classrooms, the cafeteria, or alfresco if weather permits.
A nut-free table is not available this year. Therefore, we are asking that nut-free lunches and snacks be brought to school this year. We thank you for your support and your respectful cooperation in this matter.
The cafeteria will be serving a limited menu if the lunch service is needed. The EVER POPULAR meatball sub is back! Yum! and PIEROGIES YUM!YUM!!YUM!!!

Box Tops for Education
No more clipping. No more sending Box Tops to school. All you need is your phone. Download the ALL-NEW Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then simply scan your store receipts to find participating products. The app will automatically credit your school's Box Tops earnings online.
You can still clip them and send them to school. Physical Box Top clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. Send your clipped Box Tops, along with any unexpired clips you may have at home, to SCS.
Twice a year, your school will receive a check and can use that cash to buy whatever it needs!
