2022-23 Course Selection

Course selections for 2022-23 will start on 1/31 for 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. Counselors will be hosting presentations during that week for all grade levels. Students will be able to input their course requests into Infinite Campus after the counselor presentations. Talk to your current teachers about classes that you are interested in taking next year. If you are interested in taking an AP course, you will need to complete an AP contract. More information about registration, including the AP contract, can be found on the registration page on the MRHS website: https://mountainrange.adams12.org/registration

The Range: A Mountain Range High School Production

Mountain Range Student Journalists have a new student newspaper! Our journalism and video production students have begun collaborating to publish a student media site that will take the place of a paper journalism publication and Mustang TV. It's called The Range- check it out at https://www.mtnrangestudentmedia.com/ .

If you will be leaving class early for an appointment, please make sure that your parent/guardian calls the early release line so we are able to get you a pass to release you from class.


If you are present in a class but get marked absent, please go to Student Relations to get an attendance correction form and have your teacher fill it out. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Smith, Mr. Davey or Mr. Pratt in the student relations office.

Reminder: first-hour class begins at 7:45 am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. First hour begins at 8:25 am on Wednesdays as we have advisory to begin the day.


With all students back in school this year we have found with the increased amount of traffic entering both our student lot and west parking lot, drop off times for students and students that drive is taking longer, please plan accordingly so all students have the opportunity to be present and ready for class at the beginning of first period.

If you are absent, gets put into isolation or quarantine, please check Schoology for the most updated assignment/class materials from your classes. MRHS classes are not being live streamed this year so students will need to reach out to their teachers in the event of an absence.

  • It is every Wednesday from 7:45 am to 8:20 am. All staff will be available at this time to provide additional support to students. This is a great opportunity for students to ask clarifying questions on assignments, prepare for an upcoming assessment or get caught up on material they missed due to an absence.

Students looking to purchase a locker can do so now from the bookkeeping office from 7:45am - 3:45pm. Students looking to purchase a parking permit can do so at the bookkeeping office from 7:45am -3:45pm.


If your student purchased a locker and/or a parking permit paid for online through payforit.net, please see the bookkeeper for the locker information and parking permit from 7:45am - 3:30pm.
