FHS Parent and Student Informational Meeting for 2018-2019 Scheduling
Counselors have begun to visit with students regarding the 2018-2019 school year course requests. We will be having informational meetings for parents and students regarding this process on:
Thursday, March 15 from 5:30 PM -6:30 PM and
Saturday, March 17 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
These sessions will include 3 breakout sessions where you can choose to learn more detail about many of the programs and opportunities students have here at FHS! Please plan to attend one of these meetings!
Meetings begin in the auditorium, and then you will select 3 breakout sessions from below to learn more about areas most of interest to you and your student!

12 4 Life / Launch
Come learn about our award winning 12 4 Life and Launch programs that provide jobs and Internships within the student's school schedule.
Florence Virtual School
Florence High School's online school offers 30 different classes.
Dual Enrollment
Earn college credit while earning high school credit through either Alabama, UNA, or NWSCC.
FAFA (Florence Academy of Fine Arts)
Dance, Recording Arts, Stage Band, Band, Orchestra, Theatre, TV Broadcasting and production, and much more! Students earn a Fine Arts distinction on their diploma.
AP Options (Advanced Placement)
A more challenging curriculum that gives students the opportunity to earn college credit based on their test scores. FHS offers 18 AP face to face classes and more AP courses through our Virtual School.
NCAA / Athletic Options
Information will be provided on NCAA eligibility for student athletes who plan on playing sports at the next level.
Senior Information
Information will be provided on graduation, scholarships, and more.
Grades / Transcripts
Come get your questions answered regarding grades, and requirements for transcripts.
Career Tech
From Welding and Engineering to Health Professions and Banking, and so much more, come learn about all our Career Tech Department has to offer.
