A WINTER START FOR SEASON 1 SPORTS
Practice for Season 1 sports began Monday, including cross country, football, girls soccer, girls swimming, cheerleading, and volleyball. We are so happy to see students back out on the fields and courts again! Athletes must wear masks at all times, including during all competitions (except for swimming). Details, updates, and any changes to athletics schedules will be communicated by Bremerton High School athletics staff and coaches. Check out these great pictures of some of our coaches and athletes practicing smart, social-distancing and responsibly wearing their masks! Go Knights!
DEBATE CLUB
Participating in debate gives students an improved perspective on the world around them - you'll learn about important issues in politics, public policy, philosophy and gain a better appreciation for the diverse perspectives that make up the public sphere. Everyone has opinions. It's a safe environment! Join the Google Classroom - code: DWA4KD3
Bring a friend & join!
Follow the example set by BHS Seniors Karli and Kelo! We're counting on ALL athletes to set the tone for BHS returning to school and activities. We pledge to keep our community safe by wearing our masks, keeping our distance, sanitizing up, and listening to our Coaches!
Thank you Knights; we're grateful to be playing again! See you out there!
DECA STATE QUALIFIERS
The Bremerton High School DECA club competed in the area DECA Conference in January. This year's event was held virtually (picture is from a 2019-2020 DECA event). The following students qualified for the State Conference in March: Ali Pulido and Hannah Ali placed 2nd in the Entrepreneurship Team event. Christopher Lane and Matthew Quall placed 3rd in the Sports and Entertainment event. https://www.wadeca.org/
Congratulations and best of luck at State!
CONGRATULATIONS VALENCIA TANG!
Valencia Tang of Bremerton High School has been awarded a Pacific Lutheran University President’s Scholarship, one of the top academic and leadership scholarships offered by PLU. Over 400 qualified applicants applied for these scholarships this year, and the standards are high. This year the 123 President’s Scholarship recipients have a 3.99 average GPA. Valencia was selected based on academic achievement, co-curricular involvement, service and leadership, as well as potential to effect positive change and leadership in both the academic and co-curricular life of our university.

COAT DRIVE SUCCESS
The BHS January Coat Drive held by Key Club, Interact Club and NHS succeeded in gathering enough donations to fill four large bags and a box full of coats. Shout out to everyone who donated to make this a great success. Go Knights!
