STAAR week was AWESOME! I am so proud of how we came together as a staff to support the 4th and 5th grade staff and students. You did a wonderful job of preparing our students for STAAR and I can't wait to see the results.

It's time for our staff picture! We will take our staff picture on Thursday (4/7) at 7:30 am sharp. Cecilia and Carmen will work to get parent volunteers to cover morning duty so that everyone is able to participate. Please plan to wear khaki bottoms with a spring colored shirt in any hue of pink, purple, yellow, or green (professional dress). Although the staff picture is optional we always hope for full participation. As in years past only those in the picture will receive a copy of the staff picture from the company.
Would you like to represent Memorial? Recruitment Open House (ROC) is coming soon and we need volunteers to share the great things happening at Memorial. Lastly, remember that "unknown" district personnel will enter the building using doors other than the main entrance. They will see how much of the building they can access before being addressed by staff and escorted to the main office. We got this!

A student went to his 2nd grade teacher and informed her that he felt staple marks on his forehead that were causing him to have a headache. The teacher asked why he had staple marks? The student said it was from when he was born. That’s how they put his moms belly back together as she was having him.
